It is constituted in the beginning of every academic year according to the norms of University. It provides an opportunity for leadership development of organizational skills among the students. It carries out college activities through the students. It intends to involve students in various activities such as administrative, strategy making, cultural events, sports, NSS and management.

Members of Students Council represent the views, ideas, complaints and interests of the students in the meetings. They also participate in special events such as awareness programs, anti-ragging campaign, activities of CWDC, Devgad Youth Festival (DYF) management.

Each class has one class representative. Ranker in the previous examination is selected as the class representative. Class representatives elect their General Secretary. The constitution of student council is Class representatives, General Secretary, Sports representative, Cultural representative, NSS representative and Ladies representative.
