  1. Book Bank

The Book Bank facility is available for all students. It is established with the help of Students Aid Fund. The students are availing it on the large scale. The library is offering the facility to cover almost students. One set of textbooks is given between a couples of students for the entire academic year with the nominal charges. At present there are 17121 current Textbook under this scheme.

 

  1. Circulation

          Library providing books circulation service to the all current students, all staff, Ex-Students, Other society Members, inter library loan facility to Other College staff members. For this facility membership form is available in the library.

  1. Open Access

    The Open Access system is used. All the readers can freely access the books, they desire. The partially computerization of library is done. The can search the books by using the SOUL 3.0 Software, which is developed by INFLIBNET Centre. The book search (by Title, Author, Publisher, Acc. No, Subject) circulation and correspondence is done with the help of software and computer.

 

 

  1. Internet Service

  Free Internet service for all students is available in the library, during the period 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Three pc are provided for this purpose.

 

 

  1. Reading Hall

    The library has a large well ventilated ‘Reading hall’ having capacity of two hundred seats, with separate table and chair. Students can get Question Papers Sets, periodicals, textbooks, reference books against their Identity cards and can study from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p. m. There is Separate “Study Room” for teachers

 

 

 

  1. Information Display on Notification

Using a TV screen for displaying notifications in a library is an effective way to share important information quickly and attractively.   1. Question papers and syllabus available in library

A library QR code for question papers and syllabus provides quick, contactless access to academic materials. Students scan the code using a smartphone to instantly view or download past exam papers, course outlines, and related documents. It saves time, improves accessibility, and reduces the need for physical copies.

  1. Newspaper Clipping Service

A newspaper clipping service in a library collects, organizes, and preserves important news articles on specific topics. It helps users quickly access relevant information for research, reference, and academic needs.

  1. Reference Service

Reference service in a library provides users with accurate and timely information by helping them locate books, databases, and resources. Librarians guide users in answering queries and solving information needs effectively.

  1. Books Exhibitions on various occasions

Book exhibitions in a library showcase selected books on festivals, special days, or themes. They promote reading, highlight new arrivals, and help users discover useful resources in an engaging and attractive way.
