Two days workshop in Robotics for National Robotics Championship – 2015

Organized by Department of Physics in collaboration with ARK Technosolutions, Mumbai
A Two days workshop in Robotics was organized in collaboration with ARK technosolutions, Mumbai. A total of 48 students from M.Sc. Physics and B.Sc. Computer science participated. A trainer in robotics and Design Engineer Mr. Jignesh Vaghela of ARK technosolutions trained the participants and provided kits along with the required software (Arduino 1.0.5). Based on the basics of robotics taught and the hands-on-training in two days, during the concluding session a competition was held to select a group of students for final round to be held at IIT, Mumbai.
The winners of the competition were:
- Mr. Rameshwar Chatap (M.Sc. I)
- Mr. Kerba Tiurwadkar (M.Sc. I)
- Ms Shital Mane (M.Sc. I)
- Ms. Madhuri Adke (M.Sc. I)
These students represented the college at the final rounds and were successful in passing through the elimination round.
