Class Description

 

M.Sc. In Physics(Electronics and telecommunication) E(II)

A master’s degree is a postgraduate degree for students who want to become more skilled or specialized in a particular discipline. While bachelor’s and other undergraduate degrees typically give a relatively broad overview of a particular area of study, master’s degrees tend to be more focused and allow students to develop the depth of their knowledge in a particular subject, putting them on the right course to become leaders in their fields.

Duration: 2 years (Four semesters)

Intake capacity : 20

The course consist of 4 papers each of 60 marks as follows:

Semester I :

  1. Mathematical Methods
  2. Classical Mechanics
  3. Quantum Mechanics
  4. Solid state devices

Semester II:

  1. Advance Electronics
  2. Electro dynamics
  3. Quantum Mechanics II
  4. Solid state Physics

Semester III:

  1. Thermodynamics and Statistical mechanics
  2. Nuclear Physics
  3. Signal Modulation and Transmission Techniques
  4. Micro Wave Electronics ,Radar and Optical Fiber Communication

Semester IV:

  1. Experimental Physics
  2. Atomic and Molecular Physics
  3. Digital Communication Systems and Python Programing language
  4. Computer Networking
